Latex matte paint with high performance and good coverage, designed for protective and decorative coatings. Resistant to abrasion. Used for residential spaces, offices, underground garages and public buildings: in health care facilities, schools, nursing homes and manufacturing plants (without direct contact with food). Ideal for primary or renovation painting of coatings with uniform or variable texture. Can be applied to concrete, gypsum cardboard walls, gypsum plaster, cement plaster, cement-lime plaster, as well as paper and fiberglass wallpaper. Absorbent substrates require prior priming with Bergen Progrunt. For substrates with reduced absorbency, Bergen Progrunt White paint can be used as a primer.
Surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free of stains. Residues of adhesive paints should be removed and washed off with water. Allow washed off coats of old paints to dry. Significant irregularities in plaster should be filled and leveled with mortar. Absorbent substrates should be primed in advance with Bergen Progrunt. In the case of new cement-lime and cement plaster, observe a 3-4 week seasoning period, gypsum plaster - 2 weeks, the so-called "dry plaster" should be painted after sanding and dusting. Places with biological and chemical changes should be cleaned mechanically and apply a suitable fungicide. Protect surfaces that will not be painted from dirt.
Before painting, the paint should be mixed thoroughly, and then applied in two coats by roller, brush or spray. If necessary, the paint can be diluted with potable water up to 10 % by volume - for the first painting, 5% by volume - for the second painting. Apply subsequent coats after the previous one has dried, i.e. after about 3 hours (at a room temperature of +20°C). To avoid color differences, it is recommended to perform the work with one production batch of paint. Paint indoors at temperatures above 5°C. After completing the work, ventilate the room until the characteristic smell disappears. Wash the tools after the painting work with warm soapy water.
Average consumption (when painting twice): 0.22 l/m² depending on the surface and application method.
Store and keep the paint in original and tightly closed packages at temperatures above +5°C and below +30°C. Protect from light and frost. Maximum storage period 24 months from the date of production.
