High-quality ceramic paint with excellent coverage, designed for decorative and protective coatings in both "dry" and "wet" areas.
Due to its excellent resistance to soiling and scrubbing, as well as mechanical damage, it is recommended for painting walls and ceilings in passageways, corridors, office spaces, children's rooms, as well as other residential and public spaces: in health care facilities, schools, nursing homes and production facilities also in the food industry (without direct contact with food). It can be used for primary or renovation painting of coatings with uniform or variable texture.
It is designed for painting, among others, cardboard and gypsum walls, gypsum, wooden walls, brick, cement plaster, cement-lime plaster, as well as paper and fiberglass wallpaper. Absorbent substrates require prior priming with Bergen Progrunt. Less absorbent substrates can be pre-painted with Bergen Progrunt White or Bergen Progrunt White Premium primer.
Surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free of stains. Residues of adhesive paints, should be removed and washed off with water. Allow washed off coats of old paints to dry. Significant irregularities in the plaster should be filled and leveled with mortar. Absorbent substrates should be primed in advance with Bergen Progrunt. Less absorbent substrates can be pre-painted with Bergen Progrunt White or Bergen Progrunt White Premium primer.
For new cement-lime and cement plaster, a 3-4 week seasoning period should be observed, gypsum plaster can be covered after 2 weeks, the so-called "dry plaster" after sanding and dusting. Places with biological and chemical changes should be mechanically cleaned and a suitable fungicide applied. Protect surfaces that will not be painted from dirt.
Mix the paint thoroughly before painting. Do not combine with other types of emulsion paints. Apply the paint in two coats by roller, brush or spray. If necessary, the paint can be diluted with potable water up to 10 % by volume - for the first painting, 5% by volume - for the second painting.
Apply successive coats after the previous one has dried, i.e. after about 4 hours (at a room temperature of +20°C). To avoid color differences, it is recommended to perform the work with one production batch of the product. Paint indoors at temperatures above 5°C. After finishing the work, ventilate the room until the characteristic smell disappears. Wash the tools after the painting work with warm soapy water.
Average consumption (when painting twice): 0.18 l/m², depending on the surface and application method.
Store and keep the paint in original and tightly closed packages at temperatures above +5°C and below +30°C.
Protect from light and frost. Maximum shelf life 24 months from date of manufacture.
